This pattern is from JoJoland titled “Wine Tasting”. I used the recommended yarn of JoJoland Melody Superwash color ms18. It requires 2 skeins and US4 needles with a cable needle.
GREAT yarn to work with. I’ve made hats from this stuff and it is fantastic. Soft, elastic, beautiful!
I bought this kit as a birthday present for Wyatt. His birthday isn’t until April 21st, but I thought I’d get it done so I’m not rushing in the end. Another fantastic Knit Picks find.
The kit came with the pattern and the yarn….$17.99. Not bad.
Pattern and yarn for the mat is separate from the vehicles
I found this pattern on Knit Picks. AWESOME! I found a few other ones that I purchased and will most likely showcase in the near future. I am using Mission Falls 100% superwash merino. Very soft fiber to work with. And I LOVE the color! The pattern is for infant to adult sizing. This hat is for me by the way. 😉
My current project is one I’ve done several times before. It is a child sized tam. SO cute! Everyone that I’ve knitted them for loves them! I’ve found a matching mitt pattern that I will work on as well.
yarn of choice: Stylecraft’s Luxury Merino Superwash. LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!! And so soft to work with.
I am preparing to show some of my projects. Maybe for sale. Maybe for nothing. All I know is I am trying to kick it up a notch in number and quality. This week I’m focusing on hats. For the most part these are new patterns that I’ve pulled from books, magazines, or online.
yarn of choice is Berroco Comfort worsted weight for the top two. And Lambs Pride worsted for the cabled one. I LOVE LAMBS PRIDE!!!!!
This week’s project is taken straight from Interweave Knits Special Accesories issue. I am using Plymouth Yarn’s Encore Chunky in a chocolate brown. Very pretty. The needle requirements are size 10, 9, 8, and 7 straight needles. Very quick knit. Very easy. Very cute!
I actually began this yesterday and finished it this morning. I’m going to (hopefully) be whipping up some more little projects throughout the weekend as we are currently in the middle of a nasty nasty ice storm. Nobody is leaving and nobody is coming. Stranded….with needles and plenty of yarn. Oh…..and 3 kids without my husband. I’m thinking the yarn is my sanity.
This week’s project is a simple pattern. The basketweave scarf. I LOVE the color I chose though…..it’s like a pea green. It’s beautiful!
Size 7 needle and (again) Berroco Comfort 100g yarn. So soft!!!
